How associates at top firms reclaim time

Email Template
Hi {{first_name}},

I reached out recently about workflow friction at {{company_name}}. I wanted to share something I thought you would find relevant.

We surveyed associates and senior accountants at 15 enterprise firms about their biggest time wasters. The number one answer was not meetings or emails. It was reformatting and transferring data between internal systems. On average, this consumed 7.5 hours per week per person.

The associates who raised this issue internally and proposed specific solutions saw faster career advancement because leadership noticed their initiative. It is a win for the firm and a win for the individual.

Would it be helpful to see the full survey results and how other associates have used them to drive change at their firms?

Personalization Tips

  • Reference their specific department or group within the firm to demonstrate targeted outreach
  • Note their tenure at the firm and frame the value proposition around career advancement if appropriate
  • Mention specific enterprise systems their firm uses based on job postings to make the data transfer pain point concrete

When to Use

Five to seven business days after the first email. Best when the IC is ambitious and would respond to career advancement framing alongside efficiency benefits.

When NOT to Use

If the IC is very junior and has no standing to propose process changes. Also avoid if the firm has recently undergone major layoffs as career advancement messaging may feel tone-deaf.
