Targeting individual contributor at mid-market companies (51-500 employees).
Survey: what accountants automate first
Hi {{first_name}},
Final follow-up from me. I wanted to share results from a survey of 120 accountants at mid-size firms about which tasks they automated first and the impact it had.
The top three were client document collection, bank reconciliation matching, and engagement status reporting. Accountants who automated even one of these reported saving an average of 8 hours per week and rated their job satisfaction significantly higher.
If any of those hit close to home at {{company_name}}, I would love to share the full results. If not, no worries at all.
Best, Personalization Tips
- Reference their specific role to identify which of the three automation areas is most relevant to their daily work
- Mention any firm-wide technology initiatives that would make raising automation ideas internally easier
- Note their experience level and frame the survey results around how peers at their career stage benefited most
When to Use
Seven to ten business days after the first follow-up. Works well because survey data from peers is highly credible with individual contributors.
When NOT to Use
If the IC has opened but not engaged with either previous email, a phone call or LinkedIn message may be more effective than another email.
